Utility trailer by Anderson, 5'x8', expanded metal deck and drop gate
I borrowed a utility trailer once with a 5' wide by 4' tall expanded metal tail gate. I towed it home at 55mph with the tail gate up and I returned it at 55mph with the tail gate down flat. There was a 10 mpg difference. I was towing with my Dakota with a 5.2 liter V8. There really aren't any aerodynamics to consider with a utility trailer.
